Nottingham Forest defender Willy Boly offered new contract but Harry Toffolo leaves club

Nottingham Forest have made a contract offer to defender Willy Boly as part of their retained list of players the club intends to keep next season.

Meanwhile, full-back Harry Toffolo is leaving on a free transfer as his contract comes to an end.

The 29-year-old, who made a total of 57 appearances for Forest, was named the Club’s PFA Community Champion for his work with Tricky to Talk – Nottingham Forest Community Trust’s mental health programme – which he later became an ambassador for in 2024.

Forest said Toffolo “departs the City Ground after three seasons, leaving with the sincere thanks and best wishes from everyone at Nottingham Forest”.

Centre half Willy Boly has been offered the opportunity to extend his time on Trentside, while talks regarding veteran goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey’s future role at the Club continue.

Defender Alex Moreno has also returned to Aston Villa following the conclusion of his loan deal.
