Everton forward announces Goodison exit in multi-million transfer, deal agreed
David Moyes will have a chance to shape Everton in his image this summer after a successful return to Goodison Park.
It will no doubt be a busy couple of months at the Toffees as they prepare to move to Bramley-Moore Dock.
Signings are on the forefront of every fan’s lips, with new attackers expected to join the Merseyside club.
However, it appears that a departure will be the first bit of business the Toffees conduct this summer as Neal Maupay seals a permanent move to France.
Everton striker Neal Maupay is set to join Marseille this summer
Maupay was sent on loan to Marseille in the summer after failing to make an impact at Goodison Park.
The striker has only netted once for Everton, and his move to France is his second loan away since joining.
However, despite moving away from Merseyside, Maupay has remained a controversial figure due to his comments online.

Therefore, it may please Everton fans that they look like they might be finally getting rid of the striker permanently.
According to Maxifoot (14 May), Maupay’s loan has an obligation for Marseille to buy the forward for £3.37 million.
This was believed to be a rumour, but the striker recently said regarding his future: “Next season, do I stay or leave? No, I stay, I stay.”
Everton need to get rid of their dead weight this summer
Selling Maupay will be a relief to many Everton fans, not just because of his antics, but because it will be another forgotten player off the wage bill.
Now, the Toffees must ensure this is a trend and sell many of their stars who no longer have a place in the team.
