Tomas Soucek exit twist emerges at West Ham as new evidence shared

West Ham star Tomas Soucek has been surprisingly linked with a move away this summer, in what would be a divisive call.

Soucek is a fan favourite at West Ham and has been an excellent servant since joining in 2021, but recent reports indicated that he could be on his way out this summer.

West Ham have had a miserable season, and may look to rebuild their squad this summer, in a move which could see several first-team regulars leave.

Vladimir Coufal is already headed for the exit door, but there has now been a twist in the tale regarding Soucek, and it is one fans may be happy to hear.

Soucek could stay at West Ham

Reports claimed that West Ham could be looking to sell Soucek, and former boss David Moyes was keen on reuniting with him at Everton.

However, ExWHUemployee has shut some rumours down, revealing that the Irons are not looking to sell the popular midfielder.

“West Ham have denied rumours that the club have told Soucek they are looking to sell him. Soucek wishes to remain at West Ham and is, in fact, looking for an improved contract,” he stated via the West Ham Way.

Whilst Soucek is not for sale, if a big offer came in from the likes of Everton, it will be interesting to see what would happen.

“Further evidence that the club are not actively looking to sell the popular Czech can be gained from the fact that he was one of the senior players involved in yesterday’s new kit photo session.”

West Ham should keep Soucek this summer

Soucek has consistently been one of West Ham’s best players, whether in a team performing well or badly, and even this season, he has stepped up well.
