DEAL DONE;Everton dream target Richarlison has rejected returning to play for club again

Everton are intent on having a strong summer transfer window as they look ahead to the future at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The Toffees have just two games remaining at Goodison Park, and host Ipswich in their penultimate home fixture of the season on Saturday.

David Moyes has successfully steered Everton well clear of relegation trouble, but the Blues have suffered back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, as Moyes looks ahead to the transfer window, he has set his sights on a move for Tottenham forward and ex-Toffees star Richarlison.

Tottenham set Richarlison price tag amid Everton interest

Richarlison scored 53 goals in 152 appearances for the Toffees before moving to Tottenham in the summer of 2022.

According to The Boy Hotspur (1 May), Spurs are planning to sell the Brazil international this summer, but Everton want to bring him back to Merseyside on loan, with initial talks having already begun.

The report states that Tottenham are prioritising a permanent sale and are looking to secure a transfer fee of £30million.

Everton could help Richarlison get his career back on track

Amid injury problems, Richarlison’s move from Everton to Spurs has not gone to plan and he has made just three starts in the Premier League this term.

In his first season with the North London outfit, the 27-year-old scored just three goals in 35 outings across all competitions, but he had a decent campaign last term as he notched 12 goals.

But Richarlison got himself on the scoresheet on a more regular basis in his Everton days, and the Merseyside outfit could revitalise his career.

The Brazilian’s most productive season arrived in the 2019/20 campaign when he notched 15 goals and four assists in 41 appearances for the Toffees.
