BEST SIGNING EVER;Friedkin Group has finally signed their dream star player

Everton are in desperate need of a centre-forward this summer transfer window.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to leave Goodison Park at the end of the season as his contract enters its final few months before expiry.

Chelsea loanee Armando Broja is also set to return to West London, whilst Youssef Chermiti just can’t seem to find his rhythm, partly due to injuries.

So, with that said, it’s evident David Moyes will have a striker at the top of his list of priorities ahead of the window opening in June.

Rangers’ Hamza Igamane has been linked to Everton after his prolific season with the Scottish giants.

But now it seems the Friedkin Group are keen to land a statement signing at Everton as they eye one of England’s most promising talents.

Everton want to sign Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap

According to TEAMtalk, Everton have joined the race to sign Ipswich Town centre-forward Liam Delap this summer.

The report claims that club chiefs are keeping close tabs on Delap, who has netted 12 league goals this season.

Delap is widely regarded as ‘one of the best strikers in the Premier League’, as per the Guardian, and is attracting serious interest from Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Brighton, too.

The England under-21 international is almost nailed to leave Portman Road with a £40m release clause becoming active if they suffer relegation – which looks inevitable.

Ipswich are 12 points adrift from safety.

Liam Delap tipped to become England’s next number nine

Delap, who came through Manchester City’s illustrious academy ranks, has been tipped to become Harry Kane’s successor.

Speaking on BBC’s Match of the Day programme, former Liverpool star Danny Murphy labelled him as England’s best young striker.

“He’s got a lot of qualities. I mean I’ve seen him quite.
