EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest’s Gibbs-White stance revealed as Liverpool swoop

Nottingham Forest will “do everything they can” to keep hold of captain Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Forest are desperate to keep all of their best players in the off-season after a stunning 2024-25 campaign.

Football Insider first revealed on 1st January that Liverpool have a “concrete interest” in Gibbs-White and he has been linked with Man United and Arsenal in recent weeks ahead of his contract at the City Ground expiring in June 2027.

Murillo has already signed a new contract at Forest this year after strong interest from Chelsea.

Sources say Champions League qualification would leave the Midlands club well placed to keep their best players at the club into next season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side sit third in the Premier League table after their 4-2 win over strugglers Ipswich Town on Saturday (15 March).
