
EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest’s Gibbs-White stance revealed as Liverpool swoop
Nottingham Forest will “do everything they can” to keep hold of captain Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Forest are desperate to keep all of their best players in the off-season after a stunning 2024-25 campaign.
Football Insider first revealed on 1st January that Liverpool have a “concrete interest” in Gibbs-White and he has been linked with Man United and Arsenal in recent weeks ahead of his contract at the City Ground expiring in June 2027.
Murillo has already signed a new contract at Forest this year after strong interest from Chelsea.
Gibbs-White expected to stay if Nottingham Forest seal top-five finish
Sources say Champions League qualification would leave the Midlands club well placed to keep their best players at the club into next season.

Forest have pulled out a seven-point gap to sixth-place Newcastle United – with a top-five finish likely to be enough to secure Champions League qualification.
Gibbs-White has made 27 appearances across all competitions this season, notching five goals and seven assists.
He joined Forest in August 2022 and has recently earned a call-up to Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad.
Nottingham Forest set sights on Eredivisie star
Football Insider revealed last week (13 March) that Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Brentford watched AZ Alkmaar star David Moller Wolfe against Tottenham in the Europa League.
The Norway international left-back has notched two goals and six assists in 36 games this term.
Nottingham Forest are currently lining up with Neco Williams at left-back.
