I will not play again:Leeds united key player has decided to quit due to…

Leeds United will be planning for the summer window and promotion to the Premier League will surely mean the club are in no longer in danger of being forced into selling their best players.

Last season’s inability to get promoted saw Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter, Archie Gray and Glen Kamara all leave. It will be the same this summer, if Leeds cannot get promoted to the top tier.

But promotion looks likely and Leeds should be able to keep their best players at Elland Road. That is of course, any big clubs come knocking and make a surprise move to raid Leeds for Daniel Farke’s stars.

Indeed, clubs would have to pay Premier League prices instead of knockdown Championship fees. Well, a club currently in the Champions League look as though they may try to do that, in the form of Feyenoord.

Feyenoord eye Leeds United mainstay ahead of summer window

Indeed, Football Transfers in The Netherlands report that Arne Slot’s old side want to sign Pascal Struijk. A player that Caught Offside claim is said to be rated by Leeds in the region of £25m, with Tottenham keen.

Struijk remains a key part of this Leeds side. Farke says Struijk and Joe Rodon are the League’s best two defenders right now, with the left-footed player contracted at Elland Road until the summer of 2027.

The report says that Feyenoord need to replace David Hancko who is said to be a target for Juventus and a return to Dutch football is on the cards for Struijk. The report says it is a ‘good time to sell’ for Leeds.

Leeds United have a number of contracts that need to be sorted

Struijk is one. This summer, Junior Firpo is set to leave on a free and that has got to be a priority for Leeds to sort.
