Lennon Miller reacts to Motherwell win v Rangers amid Ibrox transfer talk
Motherwell travelled to face Rangers on Saturday and managed to come away with all three points.
The Gers suffered their first defeat under Barry Ferguson on 1 March as goals from Luke Armstrong and Tom Sparrow proved to be the difference.
Despite the best efforts of Cyriel Dessers to halve the deficit, it was the Steelmen who took the spoils much to the discontent of the Govan faithful.
After the full time whistle had gone in G51, the Light Blues linked Lennon Miller shared a message in response to his side’s win.
Miller congratulates Motherwell after Rangers win
The 18-year-old started in a forward role at Ibrox and played a key role in securing a hard-fought, positive result for the Well.
This certainly caught the eye of the home crowd who were left impressed by the performance of the versatile midfielder as opposed to their own side.
This will likely spark further conversations of a move from Fir Park to Govan after plenty of speculation in the past two transfer windows.
As a result, the Scotland under-21 international has remained as a Motherwell player and has now reacted to his side’s victory via Instagram stories (2 March).
He said: “Massive win. Boys were top.”
Rangers must make Miller transfer swoop
It is fair to say that the Motherwell youngster is one of the brightest young talents in Scottish football and should be one of the main targets in Govan.
The teenager has been terrific in the Scottish Premiership and as a result, there is no lack of interest in his signature, meaning a deal would have to be struck sooner rather than later.
Patrick Stewart should have this sort of transfer in mind ahead of the summer transfer window in order to give a new manager the best chance of success.
