Russell Martin lands Rangers permanent boss pitch as 49ers role pinpointed and his non negotiable becomes clear
Barry Ferguson is in the hot seat until the summer but more changes are just around the corner at Ibrox
Russell Martin would be a “good appointment” as Rangers search for their next permanent manager.
That is according to Andy Halliday – who reckons his style of play alongside the incoming San Francisco 49ers backed takeover could be the perfect mix for success at The Light Blues. The former Ibrox defender has been on the managerial sidelines after being shown the door by Southampton after just 16 Premier League games – having led them back to the English top flight through the Championship playoffs last summer.
Mourinho’s antics in their derby at Galatasaray where he claimed the home bench were ‘jumping around like monkeys’ angered the hosts who have accused him of racism. ‘The Special One’ is already facing a disciplinary charge from the Turkish FA and now Galatasaray’s director of sport Abdullah Kavukcu has demanded UEFA take action.
