Manor Solomon permanent deal asking price revealed for Leeds
Leeds United signed winger Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham in August and the Israel international has been outstanding over the last few months, prompting debate over the possibility of a permanent deal.
Leeds have a massive game again in the Championship tonight as they take on Sheffield United away from home, which could push them even closer to promotion.
A return to the Premier League would likely see a significant spending spree from the 49ers, and with that comes questions over their loan players and if they would be signed permanently.
A report from GiveMeSport this month has now shared that if Leeds are looking to sign Manor Solomon on a permanent deal, they are going to have to stump up an eight-figure sum.
The 25-year-old is under contract until 2028 in North London, but could be available to sign by Leeds for a fee between £10-15million.
Leeds’ interest in signing the winger on a long-term basis is noted in the report, while Everton are also monitoring his form in the Championship:
“Leeds would love to sign the forward on a permanent deal if they are promoted back to the Premier League, while Everton are the other club linked most heavily with a permanent deal. The expected transfer fee is considered a reasonable one, and his form at Leeds shows it could be good value for money.”
Solomon has scored seven and assisted seven in the Championship this season, only Dan James and Joel Piroe have more goal involvements for Leeds.
There are two factors to weigh up when looking at Leeds potentially signing Solomon in the summer from Spurs, if promoted.
The first being whether he’s worth the risk, given his injury troubles and lack of consistent form in the Premier League, Leeds may think their money is better placed on a more sure-fire investment.
