SO SAD;Mohammed Kudus twist won’t end well for West Ham United

West Ham United signed Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer of 2023.

At the time, it was viewed as a huge coup for West Ham, as we only paid £38 million to bring him to the London Stadium.

The Ghanaian was linked with a mega move to Arsenal in the January window, but he remained with the Hammers in the end.

That was more to do with the fact that Kudus simply isn’t ready to play for a truly top tier side just yet.

And Graham Potter has already opened up about the need for balance in Kudus’s game.

Kudus definitely has at least one more level to go, and he’s a long way off being labelled as one of the best attackers in the game in my opinion.

West Ham face a big conundrum with the former Ajax man.

He may well end up staying in East London, but will that necessarily be a good thing?

The Hammers attacker is being linked with a big money summer move away from the London Stadium.

Kudus has an £85 million release clause – one that becomes active in the summer.

So with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool said to be chasing his signature, there’s a good chance that he will be moved on in the summer, right?

I’m not so sure.

I actually believe Kudus will end up staying at West Ham, but it’s not good news for us on two accounts.

The main reason why Kudus won’t be going anywhere this summer is the fact that he’s been in really poor form this season for the Hammers.

The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool won’t touch him with a bargepole, especially not for his £85 million release clause.
