SHOCKING NEWS;Everton Announces the departure of David Moyes as his potential replacement confirm
Everton players will soon be returning to Finch Farm to start their pre-season training ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
David Moyes will be keen to get his players back on Merseyside ahead of what is poised to be a big season for the Blues.
There is plenty going on behind the scenes at Everton this summer as the club prepares for the move into the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton’s transfer business is expected to ramp up over the coming days now it is July and the new PSR window has opened.
A number of faces will not be returning to Finch Farm, with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin leaving Everton at the end of his contract.
But there are clearly some looking to impress Moyes with their early summer training efforts.
Everton’s Jake O’Brien already returns to pre-season training
For now, the players are still being allowed to enjoy the final week or so of their summer breaks.
However, Harrison Armstrong has already begun training individually ahead of the return to Finch Farm over the coming days.
He is not alone, as the giant defender Jake O’Brien has just shared his training activity in a warm-weather location abroad.
The defender could be seen doing some work without the ball, likely working towards shaking off any rust from his break away.
O’Brien really impressed under Moyes from January onwards after what was a frustrating start to the season under Sean Dyche.
Despite him looking set to leave this summer, Everton have now reopened Michael Keane contract talks with his deal now expired.
But there is much stronger competition for O’Brien to shake off to land the starting spot at centre-back.
