DEAL CONCLUDED;Hamza Igamane Rangers star has officially agreed West ham contract deal for 4 years

Rangers striker Hamza Igamane is closing in on an agreement to join Ligue 1 outfit Lille despite interest from West Ham and Everton.

That is according to former Man United and West Ham scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that Lille have made the strongest move for the 22-year-old.

Both West Ham and Everton had been keeping tabs on his progress, but had doubts about whether he was ready to step up to the Premier League.

Football Insider revealed in April that Rangers would considering “huge” offers for Igamane in an attempt to raise funds and reinvest in their squad.

Following that, Brown told Football Insider on 20 June that West Ham could make a move for Igamane after scouts were spotted tracking his performances in Glasgow.

However, both English sides now look set to miss out on the forward, with a move to France seen as the ideal next step in his development.

Rangers accept Hamza Igamane offer amid Premier League interest

Brown told Football Insider in January that Rangers could accept “huge” offers for Igamane as a number of clubs have been keeping tabs on his progress.

Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has explained that the striker will be better suited to the move to France after an offer was accepted.

“It looks like Igamane is going to France,” he told Football Insider.

Lille have made a move for him and it looks like that one is going to happen.

“West Ham and Everton decided against it because they don’t think he’s ready for the Premier League.
