Rangers ‘ready’ transfer offer for coveted Celtic target as two European heavyweights duke it out for Hamza Igamane

Russell Martin is set to ramp up recruitment and a familiar Premiership face is said to be on his hitlist

Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool full back Owen Beck.

The 22-year-old is also a target for hometown club Wrexham following their promotion to the English Championship.

Beck is no stranger to the Scottish Premiership after his time at Dundee where he was a huge hit and attracted interest from Celtic.

The Wales Under-21 international was on loan at Blackburn Rovers last season and is weighing up his next move along with his club Liverpool.

And DaveOCKOP report that Rangers “have indicated interest in signing” Beck and “are prepared to make an offer to sign the talented Welsh left back”.

Arne Slot already has Scotland captain Andy Robertson at left back, although there are some doubts over his Anfield future, while a deal is in the works for Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez.

New Rangers boss Russell Martin has Ridvan Yilmaz and Jefte for the left back role, although the former has had his injury problems and has been linked with a move back to Turkey. It is a position he could look to strengthen.

Meanwhile, Hamza Igamane is reportedly attracting attention from continental giants Lazio and Marseille.

It comes after West Ham United were linked with the Moroccan forward, who only arrived at Ibrox 12 months ago.

The 22-year-old netted 12 goals, including a dramatic winner away to Celtic, in 33 games and, along with Nico Raskin, is Rangers’ most sellable asset.

The report states the Ibrox side have set a £20million asking price for Igamane and are open to negotiation.
