DONE DEAL:Celtic FC Officially Announce the Signing of Kylian Mbappé from Real Madrid CF on a Five-Year Contract
It won’t be too long before the Celtic players are back for pre-season.
Yes, Celtic’s domestic season only ended last month, but on July 1, the players and Brendan Rodgers will be back in action at Lennoxtown.
There will be some fresh faces in training, including the returning Kieran Tierney, and possibly other new faces because the 2025 summer transfer window is wide open.
Tierney and Ross Doohan are the only two senior players to join, as there have been rumours and speculation about others linking their names to Scotland’s most successful club.
One player has been much-talked-about for a long time, and now his dad has weighed in on his future.
What Celtic transfer target Lennon Miller won’t do
Lennon Miller is wanted by Celtic, but as of this moment, ‘nobody has made a bid for him’, according to his dad, Lee Miller.
As posted by PLZ Soccer, Miller’s father, who also played in the Scottish Premiership, expects his son to leave Motherwell and take that next step in his career.
But the man who played for the likes of Aberdeen, Dundee United and Falkirk, made it clear that Miller’s next move has to result in him earning regular minutes and he can’t get ‘sucked into a massive club’ for the sake of it.
“He is back at Motherwell on Monday (for pre-season),” shared Miller senior. “So, nothing has happened, as of yet. Yes, there is loads of speculation and loads of talk on Twitter, etc… And it’s a different club every day.
“It’s quite funny watching it, and how it’s progressing. Essentially, nobody has made bids for him. Yes, he would like to further his career down the line, but we will have to wait to see what happens.
