Graham Potter sack in pipeline at West Ham’ after what Jim White said on talkSPORT

Graham Potter may be set for an uncertain future at West Ham.

The Hammers’ head coach has already come under fire at the London Stadium since coming in midway through the season.

It is fair to say that things haven’t gone well so far for the 50-year-old, who has struggled to get a positive tune out of his side in East London.

This could now result in him facing the sack in the near future, as Jim White shared an update after Premier League fixtures were announced.

Potter already under pressure at West Ham

The Premier League campaign is set to kick start for the Irons with an away trip to the Stadium of Light, to face a newly promoted Sunderland side.

This will be followed by clashes against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest in August, representing a difficult start for the E20 club.

As a result, additional pressure will already be piling on Potter, especially after finishing 14th last time out, just five points off Tottenham in 17th.

With this league finish, tied in with the new fixtures, Jim White has shared his belief that Potter is set to be under pressure at West Ham already.

Speaking on talkSPORT (18 June, 10:13am), he said: “Which managers need to hit the ground running from the off? I’ll throw in mine, Graham Potter at West Ham.

“They have to hit the ground running because he is in for it from those fans when we get to the turn of the year. If they’re right down there, 16th, 17th, he will be copping for it.”

Potter in need of positive West Ham start

After coming in with the January window already over, the Englishman hasn’t had the chance to put his stamp on his side to this point.
