Everton now eyeing another Leicester City player after Victor Kristiansen to serve as the perfect Abdoulaye Doucoure replacement

Everton are expected to be really busy this summer transfer window as the Friedkin Group hand David Moyes a substantial budget.

The Everton squad will get heavy investment this window and that’s already amplified by Jack Grealish’s proposed move to Goodison Park.

The Toffees are also in talks over a £33m deal to sign Thierno Barry from Villarreal after his 19-goal season.

John Stones is on Moyes’ radar, too, but Pep Guardiola remains undecided on whether to sanction his sale.

A fresh transfer rumour has just emerged and this time it’s a Leicester City star who has caught the eye of Everton chiefs.

Everton interested in signing Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi

Everton are already keeping tabs on Leicester left-back Victor Kristiansen, and now it’s just surfaced that they’re looking at his teammate Wilfred Ndidi.

The Toffees have held an interest in Ndidi in the past, and Moyes did consider bringing him to West Ham United at one stage.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has again linked the Nigeria international with a move to Merseyside when discussing Manchester United on the United Stand.

Wilfred Ndidi is another name that I’m hearing, newer that I can add to the radar that Manchester United are considering,” Jacobs explained. “Everton have Ndidi on their radar.”

The transfer specialist added that Ndidi’s £9m release clause is seen as exceptional value, so it wouldn’t at all be surprising to see Moyes activate it.

Ndidi would be the perfect Abdoulaye Doucoure replacement

Ndidi’s game has changed at Leicester over the last couple of years as he’s now deployed as a box-to-box midfielder, rather than a number six.

The 28-year-old uses his athleticism to win the ball high and has even added goals and assists to his game, mainly under Enzo Maresca’s stewardship.
