Nottingham Forest are going to be extremely active in the transfer market during the summer window after qualifying for Europe next season.
The Reds were eyeing up a place in next season’s Champions League for large parts of the campaign, but ultimately tailed off to finish in a UEFA Conference League spot.
Forest want Nuno Espirito Santo to sign a new contract and it’s likely that if he does stay, he will receive the full backing of Evangelos Marinakis in the transfer market.
Some players might leave the City Ground, with Ramon Sosa linked with a Forest exit, but the main emphasis will definitely be on new players arriving at the club.
With the season out of the way and consigned to history, things will crank up on the transfer front and it looks an exciting time to be a Forest fan.
Nottingham Forest want Josha Vagnoman
Forest will perhaps tweak their targets after missing out on the Champions League this season, but there should still be a fair few players linked in the coming weeks and months.
Now, according to Kicker, Stuttgart defender Vagnoman is on the list of targets being compiled by Forest to bolster the full-back positions.
The player has been with the Bundesliga outfit since the summer of 2022, when he checked in from Hamburg, and last season he helped the club qualify for the Champions League.
Vagnoman made 35 appearances during 2024/25, with seven of those coming in the Champions League as Stuttgart failed to progress from the group stages.
The player typically operates at right-back, although he can play on the right side of midfield, with five goal contributions coming from him over the past nine months.
