‘Nottingham Forest ready to agree multiple deals – you will see a lot of action’
Nottingham Forest could be set for a busy summer transfer window as they prepare for European football next season.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have already qualified for Europe following their strong campaign.
However, they have slipped to seventh in the Premier League table after winning just one of their past six league games, with five Champions League places on offer this season.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Forest will be waiting to see which competition they qualify for before agreeing any deals.
Callum Hudson-Odoi and Neco Williams are out of contract in June 2026, while Ola Aina’s deal will also run out next summer after a 12-month extension clause in his contract has now been triggered.
Forest are set to hold contract talks with Hudson-Odoi as Manchester United are understood to be monitoring his situation.
Meanwhile, Forest are looking to resolve Morgan Gibbs-White’s future after he’s been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City.
Nottingham Forest could agree Morgan Gibbs-White deal
Borson insisted Forest will look to strengthen their squad this summer after qualifying for Europe.
He told Football Insider: “They seem to have a few contract situations.
“They are not going to want to lose key players. They obviously are in Europe, but depending on what version of Europe they get, they’re going to invest.
“They may decide that particularly if they could sell Gibbs-White, then that would give them a decent amount of capacity to start to strengthen the squad.
“I have no idea whether United are interested in Hudson-Odoi, but I think you’ll see a lot of action at Nottingham Forest either way. I think they’re just waiting to see what they’re playing with.
“A lot of these teams are in that situation where they’ll have different budgets for different scenarios.
