18-year-old set to leave PSG for Rangers – Convinced by Ibrox project, long-term contract agreed
Paris Saint-Germain youngster Oumar Camara has an agreement to join Glasgow Rangers this summer.
That’s according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who reports that Rangers have an agreement in place for the 18-year-old to make the move to Ibrox this summer.
He reports that the captain of PSG’s U19 side has reached an agreement in principle with Rangers to join them at the end of the season. The 18-year-old striker, who can also play as a right-winger, will sign a long-term contract at Ibrox.
PSG had offered the youngster a professional contract to keep him in Paris, but the 18-year-old was won over by the Rangers project and the possibility of playing in Europe at Ibrox.
His contract with PSG expires this summer and it appears he has decided to turn down the chance to remain in Paris for a move to Glasgow instead.
The youngster has nine goals and four assists in 25 games in all competitions this season playing in the National U19 Group A, the UEFA Youth League and Coupe Gambardella.
What role he plays at Rangers next season remains to be seen but they’ve presented a project, and it’s convinced him of the move to Ibrox.
