The Friedkins playing with fire as Everton could now replace Dominic Calvert-Lewin with zero goal striker

Everton are on the lookout for a new striker this summer.

It is a position where a number of Premier League clubs are looking to improve and Everton are no different.

David Moyes is ready to spend in the summer transfer window with the Friedkins promising to back their manager.

A lot of work will need to be undergone at Finch Farm if the Toffees are to have a competitive squad for the new term.

It is set to be perhaps the biggest summer in Everton’s history considering the stadium move and amount of work needed in the transfer market.

Angus Kinnear said Everton have an ‘unprecedented’ amount of work to do when the window does open next month.

But it seems there is already one striker who is looking like a potential option for the Toffees.

Everton eyeing Evan Ferguson as Dominic Calvert-Lewin successor

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Everton future remains up in the air following his agent’s request for further talks to be held.

No agreement has been struck leaving Everton with a lot of uncertainty up front going into the summer.

According to GiveMeSport, the Toffees could pursue a potential deal for Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson.

The 20-year-old has been sent out on loan to West Ham United for the back end of the season, but he has not fared well in London.

It looks as if the Ireland international needs a fresh start at a new club and Everton could offer him exactly that.

Everton are prioritising a striker signing this summer with money there to be spent from the Friedkins.

However, this is a potential addition which would certainly divide the Everton fans given Ferguson’s recent struggles.
