
Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White banned from driving and fined after speeding on A52
He has been banned for driving for six months over the string of driving offences
Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has been banned from driving and fined after repeatedly speeding on a busy Nottinghamshire road. The Reds midfielder pleaded guilty to exceeding the speed limit six times on the A52 between December last year and February this year at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 12.
The 25-year-old footballer even sped on the A52 on Christmas Day last year. Gibbs-White and Nottingham Forest were contacted by Nottinghamshire Live, but declined to comment on the sentencing.
Gibbs-White, of Cherryholt Lane, East Bridgford, has been banned for driving for six months over the string of driving offences. He was also fined for each offence, and was ordered to pay the court’s costs and a surcharge.
The details of the charges he faced and the sentence he received in full:
- He was fined £666 and given three points on his driving record for going 86mph just after 1am on 05/12/2024. He was driving a Land Rover on the A52 from Lings Bar to Stragglethorpe Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent. He was also ordered to pay costs of £110 and a £1,598 surcharge.
- He was fined £666 and given three points on his driving record for going 83mph on the evening of 15/12/2024. He was driving a Mercedes on the A52 from Lings Bar to Stragglethorpe Road.
- He was fined £666 and given three points on his driving record for going 90mph on the morning of 17/12/2024. He was driving a Land Rover on the A52 from Stragglethorpe Road to Lings Bar.
- He was fined £666 and given three points on his driving record for going 70mph on Christmas morning. On this occasion, he was driving a Land Rover on the A52 from Cropwell Road to Lees Barn Road.
