DEAL DONE;Celtic super star has signed and accepted terms and conditions with West Ham club

West Ham United have entered the race to sign Celtic’s prolific forward Daizen Maeda as Graham Potter seeks to inject much-needed firepower into the Hammers’ frontline this summer.

According to reports from Caught Offside, the 27-year-old Japanese international has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace, and Fulham. Celtic, aware of Maeda’s rising stock, have slapped a £25 million price tag on the versatile attacker.

Whilst that value might seem a little rich given the Hammers limited summer transfer budget, it’s not prohibitively high.

Bhoys boss Brenden Rodgers recently compared Maeda to legend Henrik Larsson to legend Henrik Larsson and the forward has been in fine form this season.

The Celtic star is described as having relentless work rate, electric pace, and instinctive finishing which would all be welcome in what is largely a very slow West Ham team.

However, the Hammers will not get a clear run at the player who’s performances have attracted a lot of attention. There’s also interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Leeds United as well as Chelsea.
