Nottingham Forest ready blockbuster move for title-winner as Chelsea chase lethal Serie A striker

Latest Premier League rumours including updates from Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Arsenal

Premier League clubs have the chance to bring in some new signings this summer when the transfer window opens for business. Liverpool will be looking to win the title again, whilst the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City will aim to beat them to it. At the other end of the league, Leeds United and Burnley are back in the big time.

Firstly, Nottingham Forest are showing ‘interest’ in Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah, according to TEAMtalk. Newcastle United have also been mentioned as a potential suitor. Arne Slot has a big decision to make regarding the centre-back’s future.

Quansah, 22, has been on the books at Anfield for his whole career to date. He rose up through the Reds’ academy ranked and was loaned out to Bristol Rovers as a youngster to get some experience. The Warrington-born man has since broken into their first-team and has made 57 appearances.

The 3AM Verdict: Nottingham Forest’s chances of being able to attract top players this summer will depend on whether they get into the Champions League. Quansah would be an eye-catching addition if they were able to get him. He would boost their defensive ranks and would be a useful long-term acquisition.

Chelsea set sights on Rafael Leao swoop

CaughtOffside claim Chelsea are keen on AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao. The Portugal international, who has 39 caps under his belt, has been with the Serie A club since 2019 and has been a good servant over the past six years. He has scored 70 goals in 258 matches, 12 of which have come in this campaign.

Enzo Maresca could see him as someone to add more firepower to his attacking department. The Blues are currently battling it out for a place in the Champions League.
