Leeds Ready to Offer ‘Fantastic’ Star a ‘Lucrative’ Salary to Join

Rangers want to keep hold of star midfielder Nicolas Raskin amidst interest from newly promoted side Leeds United, according to TEAMtalk.

Leeds will be playing Premier League football in the 2025/26 season, having earned promotion from the Championship at their second attempt under Daniel Farke. After suffering play-off heartbreak in last year’s final, the Whites stormed their way to the title with 100 points, beating Burnley to the silverware by just goal difference.

The Whites have some brilliant players within their ranks, but will need to strengthen across the board if they hope to buck the recent trend of newly promoted teams being relegated straight away. Farke’s future at Leeds has been confirmed after rumours had circulated, meaning the West Yorkshire side can fully focus on the transfer window.

It would appear, based on recent reports, that Leeds are keen on bolstering their midfield options for the top flight.

Raskin is comfortable either in defensive or central midfield, with such versatility no doubt being appreciated by Leeds. The Whites are well-stocked in midfield already, with options such as Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu, but in Raskin would be signing a player with European games under his belt and international experience from his games with the Belgian national side.

At just 24 years old, Raskin could be part of Leeds’ midfield for years to come were they to get a deal over the line.
