DONE DEAL;Everton finally reveals and accepted terms for the return of former player-Richarlison to club

Everton are eager to sign a youthful striker with a bright future as a cut-price alternative to Tottenham Hotspur star Richarlison as they prepare to swap Goodison Park for their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, GIVEMESPORT senior football correspondent Ben Jacobs has revealed on the latest episode of our Market Madness podcast.

The Brazil international left the Toffees for Spurs in July 2022, when a £60million switch was completed due to the Merseyside giants having fears of breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, and a move back to familiar surroundings may not prove to be on the cards under boss David Moyes.

Richarlison Not Expected to Return to Toffees

Everton want to bring in an up-and-coming frontman while continuing to decide whether to hand Dominic Calvert-Lewin a new contract as it could be a more cost-effective option than entering the market for Richarlison. Jacobs, speaking on GIVEMESPORT’s Market Madness podcast, said:

“There is no doubt that Richarlison is going to be looking for a move this summer. Saudi Arabia are interested, with Al-Ahli trying in the past. But my understanding is that Everton are reticent on Richarlison because of the injury record and the price that Tottenham are asking for.

“It’s not going to be quite as high from Tottenham’s perspective as last summer, when the number was £60million or no business, but Richarlison is still valued by Tottenham in the region of £40million to £45million. That’s probably going to be prohibitive as far as Everton are concerned.

Keep an eye on Everton because a new forward is likely to come in and it will be one of the top priorities, but I don’t think a Richarlison return is realistic. I’m told a younger kind of profile will be looked at by Everton.”
