David Moyes personally requests Dan Friedkin to land him ‘fantastic’ midfielder for Everton
David Moyes has informed the Friedkins he would like to make a specific addition this summer.
Plenty of positives can be taken from Moyes’ time back on Merseyside as the Toffees look ahead to another season in the Premier League.
Perhaps this can also be taken as a positive, but there are also a lot of improvements to be made at Everton.
Despite the solid displays under the 62-year-old there is still plenty of room to get better ahead of the new season.
Moyes has already identified four key areas to improve in the summer transfer window.
There are some glaringly obvious positions such as up front as the Blues struggle to score multiple goals per game on a regular basis.
After seeing Everton score twice on the weekend, Moyes has decided on one specific addition which the Friedkins must make for him.
David Moyes urges Everton to sign Carlos Alcaraz
With Abdoulaye Doucoure absent, Carlos Alcaraz was handed an Everton start against Ipswich Town on the weekend.
Everton are looking to sign Alcaraz for cheaper than their option held in the deal with Flamengo.
But it has now been suggested by journalist Bruno Lemos that Moyes is demanding the Everton owners to sign the Argentine permanently.
At the request of Everton manager David Moyes, the club should purchase the player if they are unable to meet their targets,’ he wrote on social media.
Alcaraz is the only signing of the new Moyes era with the Toffees extremely limited in what they could do over the January window.
However, Alcaraz could still return back to Brazil with Everton not yet meeting the demands to make his signing an obligation.
Alcaraz has loved playing in front of Everton fans since making the move in January.
