Big changes have been made at Everton following the Friedkins’ takeover back in December.
Besides bringing David Moyes back to Merseyside, there have been some considerable alterations to how the club will be operated ahead of the summer transfer window.
The most obvious departure has been Kevin Thelwell who will be joining Rangers when his contract comes to an end.
But this is just the start of the new look Everton’s recruitment will have come the summer window opening.
Angus Kinnear will be bringing Nick Hammond and Gary Penrice to Merseyside with him from Leeds United.
However, there is one highly-regarded chief who the Toffees have missed out on now.
Tottenham set to beat Everton to Fabio Paratici
The Friedkins have said more Everton appointments will follow in the coming weeks after announcing Thelwell’s decision to join Rangers.
It has not all been good news for the Toffees as Dan Purdy will leave Everton unexpectedly leaving a vacancy at the head of recruitment position.
And according to journalist Carlo Pellegatti, Fabio Paratici is now likely to re-join Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
“So it seemed like he was back in the mix, but then suddenly everything with Paratici fell through. He’s going to Tottenham,” he said.
The Italian director of football has been serving his ban following his issues with Juventus.
But he is now preparing himself for a return to football and he is seemingly set to make his way straight back to north London.
Everton held an interest in Paratici, but the Toffees have not had much of a look in with the Italian as his eyes were focused on Spurs.
The Toffees have a number of potential additions already drawn up back at Finch Farm, though.
