SO SAD;Nuno Espirito Santo has finally announces the departure of two players after what happened

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side face off against Brentford on Thursday evening, a side which contains two Nottingham Forest transfer targets.

With European football potentially coming to the City Ground next season, Evangelos Marinakis could go big in the transfer market this summer.

Forest have already targeted Matheus Cunha, but with Manchester United favourites to sign the Brazilian, Nuno’s side will likely have to turn their attention to other options.

Two names that seem to be on Forest’s list of targets are Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, two players who will no doubt catch the eye when Brentford visit the City Ground this week.

The Brentford pair have been on fire this season with 34 Premier League goals between them already.

It was this sort of form which tempted Forest to make a January move for Wissa, an approach which was rumoured to be in the region of £22m.

As well as Wissa, though, Forest are also interested in Mbeumo, with a potential £50m move being touted ahead of the summer.

With this in mind, Brentford’s visit to the City Ground could be the perfect opportunity for Espirito Santo to give his final verdict on two and potentially decide on whether to pursue a summer move for either forward.

How Brentford feel about selling either Wissa or Mbeumo

Whilst it is unlikely Forest will be able to secure the signatures of both Wissa and Mbeumo, the City Ground should fancy their chances of bagging at least one.

According to the Standard, Brentford are readying themselves for bids this summer and have already started succession-planning, in case a high enough offer tempts them into a sale.
