Tomáš Souček ‘wants David Moyes reunion’ as Everton transfer news emerges

West Ham midfielder Tomáš Souček is thought to be keen on reuniting with David Moyes at Everton.

The Toffees have been in fine form since Moyes returned to Goodison Park. As a result, supporters will be feeling much more optimistic about the future ahead of Everton’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock.

However, a lot of work will need to be done this summer, with Moyes expected to hold talks with the Friedkin Group.

A host of first-team stars are out of contract at the end of the season, including midfielders Abdoulaye Doucouré and Idrissa Gueye. As a result, a midfielder might need to be signed, and it looks as though Souček is in Moyes’ sights.

Everton set out a plan to sign Souček from West Ham

As reported by GiveMeSport (18 April), Moyes is determined to hold successful negotiations with West Ham to sign Souček this summer.

The Hammers are thinking about selling the 30-year-old, who has fallen down the pecking order since Graham Potter took over at the London Stadium.

Everton are seriously considering a bid and have already assembled a plan to bring Souček to Merseyside.

And ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes the player would be keen on the move.

“I don’t doubt that Souček could become an Everton player,” King said.

“He always performs, he has a great attitude, and he’s a great professional. He worked well with Moyes, and I’m sure he is keen to play under him again.”

Everton would be wise to sign Souček from West Ham

Everton will likely need a new midfielder this summer, and Souček could be a smart signing.

The Czech Republic international has plenty of experience in the Premier League, and already knows Moyes very well. Therefore, if Everton can agree on a reasonable fee with West Ham, this signing could be a no-brainer.
