Regis Le Bris has finally announced the sudden departure of Sunderland star-Jobe Bellingham to new club

Jobe Bellingham reacted to a set of announcements from Sunderland on social media amid rumours of a summer exit.

The Black Cats’ England youth international has enjoyed a stellar season, helping propel his side to fourth in the Championship.

However, the 19-year-old’s fine form has drawn admiring eyes, and Bellingham could be on his way to RB Leipzig in the summer, Mick Brown told Football Insider exclusively.

Chelsea scouts have also been watching Bellingham, as Premier League clubs line up in the hopes of securing the midfielder’s signature this summer.

Jobe Bellingham nominated for Championship young player of the season

Ahead of a crucial match-up against Bristol City on Friday, which will have a significant bearing on the playoffs’ fixtures, Sunderland posted on Instagram, saying: “Jobe is nominated for Young Player of the Season following a standout campaign with 36 league appearances, four goals, and three assists.

Bellingham liked the post, which also highlighted Regis Le Bris’ nomination for manager of the season, and Everton target Chris Rigg‘s nomination for apprentice of the season.

Jobe Bellingham should remain at Sunderland

Football Insider Verdict

It seems that half of all the clubs in world football have been linked with Jude’s younger brother, with clubs clearly desperate not to miss out on the Bellingham magic.

United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig, Crystal Palace, etcetera etcetera, the 19-year-old has plenty of choice on where he can call home next season.

Despite all those options, Bellingham should seriously consider the option that no one seems to be discussing, remaining at the Stadium of Light.

It’s not a very fun one, but it makes a lot of sense. Whilst the former Birmingham man seems ready to make the step-up to one of the big boys.
