Rodrigo Muniz;West ham target has finally agreed contract deal with favourite club Nottingham Forest

TBR Football understands that Rodrigo Muniz is in line for a bumper new contract at Fulham as the Cottagers look to fend off interest from elsewhere.

The West London club believe they have a real gem on their hands in Muniz and there is a sense he could become Brazil’s number nine at the 2026 World Cup.

Marco Silva’s team are keen for him to commit his future to Craven Cottage as they have been delighted with his progress across the season.

There is also the factor that several Premier League clubs have shown a keen interest in the striker and that is why they are ready to make him a big offer to stay.

Fulham ready to hand Rodrigo Muniz new contract

Fulham are ready to hand Rodrigo Muniz a big new contract to fend off interest from Nottingham Forest and West Ham United, sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey.

Nottingham Forest are looking to bolster their attacking options for next season with the belief they will be playing Champions League football.

Meanwhile, the Hammers have long been on the hunt for a new number nine, with Evan Ferguson’s loan move from Brighton not quite going to plan.

Bailey told TBR Football: “They think they’ve got a real gem there, there’s also a real chance Brazil’s number nine at the World Cup might end up being Muniz. He thinks he’s got a great chance.

“A bumper new deal, because there are other teams sniffing around him, West Ham and Forest. His goal-scoring record has been great. He’s in line for a big new deal at Fulham. They’re very happy with and want him to commit.”

Tottenham have been linked with Muniz, who is valued at £50m, and although the North London club are looking at strikers, the Brazilian is not currently on their radar.
