£30m forward prepares to leave European giants after interest from Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest have been courting a number of players since the January transfer window ahead of what promises to be a hectic summer of activity.

The Reds might have Champions League football on the horizon and even if it’s the Europa League coming to the City Ground, the squad will need to be reinforced by Nuno Espirito Santo.

Forest were rejected by Santiago Gimenez last summer, whilst a move to sign Eddie Nketiah also fell flat with the striker choosing to sign for Crystal Palace from Arsenal instead.

Evangelos Marinakis wanted a striker in January. However, he found moves for Yoane Wissa and Matheus Cunha fruitless and ultimately, Forest stuck with what they had until the summer window.

Forest will provide plenty of entertainment in the market this summer, it seems and given some of the links so far, it would appear that attacking players at the order of the day.

West Ham make offer for Forest-linked Baris Alper Yilmaz

Graham Potter is going to be leaving no stone unturned in the summer to try and revive West Ham, with the Hammers currently languishing in 17th place in the Premier League table with just six games remaining.

According to Turkiye Gazetesi, the Hammers have returned with another offer for Yilmaz, who looks certain to depart Galatasaray once the window reopens this summer.

All is not lost for Forest, however, with the report claiming that the Reds are still very interested, with Napoli also in the mix to take the player over to Italy.

Galatasaray won’t be letting Yilmaz go on the cheap and it’s claimed that it will take around £30 million to sign the versatile forward during the summer transfer window.

Intriguingly, the 24-year-old is ready to move, with the report suggesting that Yilmaz has already packed his bags ahead of his next move, which will almost certainly take place in the summer.
