Carlo Ancelotti could play a part in sensational Richarlison return to Everton this summer

Everton would be keen on sanctioning a blockbuster return to Merseyside for Richarlison.

A big summer transfer window awaits Everton and The Friedkin Group following what was a limited January window.

The Toffees were hamstrung by PSR in the winter market, but the Friedkins will provide a significant transfer budget.

David Moyes will be delighted to finally be able to put his stamp on the squad which he inherited from Sean Dyche in January.

A lot of progression has been seen at Goodison Park over recent months ahead of the historic move into Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton are open to re-signing Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

And TBR Football’s Chief Correspondent Graeme Bailey has now informed Everton News what could play a key role in the Brazilian’s future.

Richarlison could play more regular football at Everton

It has been another frustrating season for Richarlison who returned from his latest injury on Thursday night in the Europa League.

Injuries aside, the Brazilian will be targeting more frequent minutes for next season with the 2026 World Cup on his mind.

Talking all things Everton ahead of the summer, Bailey told Everton News the need for regular minutes could lead Richarlison back to Merseyside.

“Obviously, he can play out wide as well, but I think if he came, he’d have to play in a position where he wanted to play, which would probably be the nine, especially in a World Cup year. And I think that could very well help Everton,” said Bailey.

Richarlison will think and believe he is Brazil’s best option for number nine. So I think that does help Everton’s quest where they can offer him that role, that first-team football.

“Obviously, to sign him permanently would be very, very difficult for anyone to do. You know, outside of Saudi.
