‘Dejan Kulusevski has decided to quit Tottenham and join new club’ after ‘huge’ reveal
Dejan Kulusevski is interested in a move to AC Milan after a frustrating season at Tottenham, according to the club’s former scout.
Mick Brown, who also worked as the chief scout at Man United and Blackburn and remains very well-connected at his former clubs, exclusively told Football Insider that the 24-year-old is open to a return to Italy after leaving Juventus in 2023.
Tottenham, however, are reluctant to let their star player leave this summer and view him as a crucial part of their plans for the future.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider that Tottenham will demand a “huge” fee for Kulusevski as a number of top clubs are keeping an eye on his situation.
Among those clubs are both AC Milan and Napoli, who are keen to strengthen their attacking options this summer and could explore the Sweden international’s availability.
Meanwhile, the midfielder is keen to remain playing at the highest level while Spurs remain 14th in the Premier League, 11 points away from European qualification.
Dejan Kulusevski open to Tottenham exit after Serie A latest
Kulusevski has been a standout performer for Tottenham so far this season, recording ten goals and ten assists in 42 appearances across all competitions so far.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, explained that the midfielder could look to leave Spurs with a return to Italy his most likely destination.
Kulusevski is one who could leave this summer,” he told Football Insider.
“I think a lot of the players are frustrated with the way the season has gone at Tottenham.
“Whenever I’ve seen them play, he has been one of if not their best player, so they’re not going to want to lose him unless a really big offer comes in.
