David Moyes suggests he’s found his Jack Harrison replacement for Everton
Everton have the opportunity to immediately bounce back from their Merseyside Derby defeat against Arsenal on Saturday.
David Moyes saw his side’s unbeaten run in the Premier League come to an end on Wednesday night at Anfield.
It was a controversial evening across Stanley Park, with Everton feeling they could have come away with a result had some decisions gone in their favour.
Everton fans will unveil a new banner for Moyes prior to kick off on Saturday at Goodison Park.
However, he may need to work out a change on the right side of the attack with Jack Harrison failing to impress against Liverpool.
The 2024/25 campaign has been one to forget for the 18-year-old, but Moyes may already have found an alternative.
Armando Broja is really impressing David Moyes at Everton
Speaking of frustrating seasons, it has been just that for the on-loan Armando Broja who has suffered from multiple injury issues.
Broja impressed for Albania against England after he came on and operated from a wider position.
Speaking ahead of the game on Saturday, Moyes has admitted he would like to get Broja some minutes after being impressed by his speed.
“I think he’s got some really good qualities, He’s got ability, at times he can hold onto the ball, he can stay on the ball and give us opportunities,” he said.
He’s got some speed about him as well. I think we need to try and get him an opportunity to see what he can do.”
Broja has been impressing in Everton training since making his return from the injury picked up in January.
The forward is running out of time to prove his worth ahead of the summer where he is set to return to his parent club Chelsea.
