CONFIRMED REPORT;West Ham two key players has been ban from rest of the season due to…

Niclas Fullkrug has hinted at a potential return to action after injury, which has seemingly pleased some of his West Ham teammates.

It has been a challenging season for the striker, who only joined West Ham from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer transfer window.

He has already faced several fitness issues since making his move to the London Stadium, which have limited his involvement for the Hammers.

Indeed, Fullkrug picked up an injury as West Ham were beaten by Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup back in early January.

That was new manager Graham Potter‘s first game in charge, and the striker is yet to feature for a second time under the former Brighton and Chelsea boss.

Niclas Fullkrug hints at West Ham return

Fullkrug has regularly provided updates on his bid to return to West Ham via social media, and his latest one suggested he is not far away from playing for the club again.

On Friday night (28 March), the striker took to Instagram to post a series of pictures in action in training with the Hammers.

He then appeared to suggest that he is not far away from playing for Potter’s team again by writing: “Almost that time… can’t wait to be back.”

In response, both Mavropanos and Palmieri were quick to show their support for their West Ham teammate by liking that post.

While the Hammers are 16th in the Premier League, they are 17 points clear of the relegation zone with nine games to play, meaning they are unlikely to be dragged into trouble this season.
