UNBELIEVABLE NEWS; Nottingham Forest Stadium city ground Put Up for Auction to Settle Financial Crisis…

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has now signed a ‘memorandum of understanding’ for a partnership investment in São Paulo.

That’s according to Correio Braziliense, who report that the various parties involved in the businessman’s investment have taken a step closer to finalising it.

They report that the Nottingham Forest has signed a ‘memorandum of understanding’ (MOU) for a partnership that involves the youth sectors of the Brazilian club.

The document does not meant that the agreement is closed but it reinforces the Greek’s businessman’s intention to invest.

He is not going to buy the youth categories of the Tricolor but enhance the work already being done there with is investment. Furthermore, it could involve the exchange of youth players and professionals, perhaps to Nottingham Forest or his other clubs.

Marinakis would make a profit on any sales of youth players in future. There has been no disclosure on the level of his investment as yet but any funds he invests would be for financing and to attract players. He and his group would then own a percentage of those players.

The Nottingham Forest owner also has a desire to buy Vasco, and a meeting was planned but later delayed. They are continuing to talk informally regarding it, thought.

The partnership with São Paulo would not affect this according to Vasco, but São Paulo do not feel the same and believe any possible partnership would make investing in them impossible.

Murillo makes fresh transfer claim after signing Forest contract

The ink is still drying on the Forest contract signed by Murillo but he might still have his sights on a move.

Several high profile clubs have been linked with the Forest star and it would appear that he dreams of playing in the Champions League – something which he might be able to do on Trentside next season.
