Craig Moore insists Auchenhowie is a superior facility to Lennoxtown as he sparked a fresh Celtic and Rangers debate on air.

Speaking on Go Radio, Moore said: “I remember I came back nearly five years ago after some bad weather which is normal for Scotland I guess and I went into the training ground early doors and it looked a little bit ragged at that time.

“There has been improvements and by all accounts with this report there looks to be more improvements. It is a fantastic training centre. It is the best training ground in the country.

Asked by host Cooney if it was better than Lennoxtown, he added: “Absolutely. It is not even a rammy. It has nothing to do with Rangers and Celtic.
