
Premier League Rivals Eye West Ham Midfielder with Big-Money Offer
West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek is attracting serious interest from a Premier League club, Claret & Hugh can reveal.
The interested party are reportedly willing to pay the Hammers star over £30,000 more per week than his current West Ham contract, which still has just over two years left to run.

Now in his fifth year in East London, the goal scoring cult hero is certainly not agitating for a move. However, he remains towards the lower end of the wage structure among West Ham’s senior players, and a potential suitor is prepared to offer significantly more to tempt him away.
Claret & Hugh understands there could be as many as three Premier League clubs interested in signing Soucek, who has scored seven goals this season.
Additionally, two Championship clubs currently pushing for promotion are also believed to be considering moves for the Czech international. Both would be willing to offer a pay-rise, given his almost guaranteed supply of goals from midfield.
West Ham are understood to be willing to review the 30-year-old’s contract towards the end of next season but could expect transfer bids in the region of £17m.
Payet’s brilliance was undermined by the way that he pushed for an exit from the London Stadium in January 2017.
However, in fairness to him, it’s no surprise he wanted to leave really is it?
The board failed to adequately back Slaven Bilic in the transfer market, and Payet was an incredibly ambitious player.
The now 37-year-old bagged a really impressive 15 goals and 22 assists in 60 games for the Hammers. It’s worth remembering that he didn’t play in a great West Ham team either!
