Rangers daft WWE star Drew McIntyre is convinced Rangers are on the right track under Barry Ferguson – after revealing he couldn’t even bring himself to say sacked Philippe Clement’s name.
The Scottish ring star is pushing for a “special” Glasgow appearance in Monday’s WWE Raw event at the Hydro. And the 39-year-old from Ayr spoke about the impact Ferguson is having on his beloved Light Blues.
McIntyre spoke in the summer of his high hops for Rangers under Clement but it went horribly wrong for the Belgian and the WWE hero admitted he had to go. He said of last weekend’s dramatic late win over Celtic: “I did watch the game and I was absolutely buzzing..
I never want anybody to lose their job unless it’s the man himself. I still refuse to say his name. When I was at Ibrox, I was doing one of those games with the staff where they muffle the faces and I couldn’t guess who he was. I got everybody else, except the gaffer.
