Leeds United ‘to sack Daniel Farke’ under one condition after QPR draw
Daniel Farke will be feeling the pressure at Leeds United after their promotion hopes took a minor hit.
Leeds United have somewhat fallen off track as of late, with their most recent 2-2 draw with QPR a showcase of their lack of current form.
The Whites have won just one of their last four league encounters, and their promotion chances have taken a hit as a result.
As it stands, it is still in their hands to decide whether or not they return to the Premier League, but there could be some serious repercussions if they fail to do so.
Leeds simply must get promoted
Given the size of the club and the facilities they have in the Championship, Farke is under serious pressure to get Leeds promoted.
However, if they fail to cross the finish line, it could have a daunting effect on his future, as well as several first team players according to Paul Robinson when speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News.
Robinson said: “I don’t think they will fail to get promoted. I think it’s almost impossible not to be in the playoffs where they are now. And I think with the games that they’ve got left, they are going to get promoted.
“But like anything, any team in the Championship, the vultures will come. And you have to cut your cloth accordingly financially.
Championship G W D L P
Leeds 38 23 11 4 80
Burnley 38 21 15 2 78
Sheffield United 37 24 7 6 77
Leeds remain at the summit of the Championship
“It’s no different at Leeds to any other club. Without putting figures on it, you’d lose a good few. But actually, with the backing that the club has got, with the investment that they’ve got and the ownership, the club are financially in a situation where they can keep a lot of the players.
