Ally McCoist fights back TEARS of Rangers laughter at Cerny water bottle celebration as Ibrox hero loses it live on

Ally McCoist admitted he shouldn’t laugh at Vaclav Cerny squirting water towards the Celtic fans – but his better judgement didn’t stop him bursting into TEARS of hysterics live on air.

Hamza Igamane netted the winner in the 3-2 victory for Barry Ferguson’s team at Parkhead but it was winger Cerny who proved the pantomime villain during the celebrations.

Taken off as a sub just moments earlier, a clip on Sky Sports showed the Czech wide man squirting water in the face of one Celtic fan during the chaos – a moment which sparked fury in the home support and forced police and security to intervene.

It’s become the subject of debate (and of many a social media meme) and it was one of the talking points on McCoist’s talkSPORT show as he discussed it with Andy Townsend and Shebahn Aherne near the top of the AM broadcast.

And a chuckling McCoist kicked it off by saying: “By the way, what about Cerny? Come on, I thought you were going to dig me up this morning. I shouldn’t laugh!”

As McCoist tried to compose himself, Aherne responded: “Did you see that? A video of Vaclav Cerny after Igamane scored the third goal, he runs past the Celtic fans and skooshes the water in one poor guy’s face. I shouldn’t laugh as a Celtic fan, I should be coming for him, but it was housery at its finest

McCoist: “The ultimate housery! Then he went back into the dugout on his way back! Well saying he doesn’t hang about Glasgow too often.Man alive!”
