Nicolas Raskin responds to Rangers fan after outrageous Celtic tattoo promise

The midfielder was a standout again for his side as they saw off their rivals – but one Ibrox fan may now be regretting a pre-match promised

In-form Nicolas Raskin was the man of the moment at Celtic Park – but one Rangers’ fan may now be hoping he wasn’t.

Off the back of playing a key role in the Light Blues’ seeing off Fenerbahce in the Europa League last 16 and receiving a Belgium call up, things got even better for Raskin in Glasgow’s east end.

The 24-year-old netted the opener against Celtic with a looping header – and would be instrumental as Barry Ferguson’s men earned bragging rights in Glasgow with a 3-2 triumph.

And the Ibrox midfielder has now called out a punter on his pre-match promise. A supporter posted to X: “F*** it, if Raskin scores on Sunday and we win I am getting his name tattooed on my arse (Will post proof afterwards).”

Raskin clearly had the post saved on his phone – as after the full-time whistle he shared the pledge from the punter – positing an eyes and laughing face emoji

.

The midfielder will now be waiting on the evidence from the Rangers’ diehard – but speaking after the game he admitted delight at silencing a raucous crowd in the east end of Glasgow.

He told Sky Sports: “It was amazing to make the stadium a bit calmer. I’m just happy for the win.

“The gaffer just wanted us to go aggressive and to put the pressure on. I think the team has done very well, so it was really good. We wanted to be high up the pitch and we score three goals.”
