UNBELIEVABLE NEWS;Morgan Gibbs-White suddenly signs a new permanent contract deal with another club

Nottingham Forest are flying high in the Premier League this season and Champions League football is becoming a genuine possibility next season.

The Reds beat Manchester City 1-0 on Saturday to go four points clear of the reigning champions, with Callum Hudson-Odoi earning praise from Michael Owen for his winning goal.

Forest need to make sure that they maintain a grounded mentality, but Nuno Espirito Santo is on the cusp of doing something very special this season.

After a very successful campaign, it looks as though Forest will have to stand firm in the summer and try to resist the temptation to cash in on their star players.

Murillo has already been linked with Premier League clubs, although his new contract will ensure that Forest can ask for top dollar when it comes to his transfer fee.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United now want Morgan Gibbs-White

According to Caught Offside, the Reds are bracing themselves for bids for Gibbs-White in the summer with a host of clubs keen.

Tottenham and Manchester City are also in the mix to try and land the player too, with Forest likely to need to sell one star player in order to meet PSR criteria.

Amazingly, this article appears to have some flaws though, with the report claiming that Forest would listen to offers of around £50 million for Gibbs-White.

Given that European football would likely see Wolves receive their full £42.5 million transfer fee after add-ons, there seems little chance of Forest doing business to make just £8 million worth of profit.

Forest want Gibbs-White to sign a new deal, and after 40 goal contributions in a Forest shirt there is surely no way that such a fee weeks.

Stuart Pearce called Gibbs-White ‘fantastic’ back at the start of last season and he’s been instrumental in cementing Forest as a top Premier League club.
