Celtic youngster quits football to pursue fashion business
Celtic youngster Bruno Davidson has given up football to pursue his fashion business.
The 20-year-old made 67 appearances for the Parkhead club’s B side, scoring eight goals and assisting as many.
Davidson never played for the first team at Celtic, and despite having a contract in Glasgow’s east end, which ran until the end of the current campaign, he has decided to quit football altogether to launch his own fashion business, ‘Bruno Narducci’.
He took to Instagram on Friday evening to lift the lid on his decision: “I’m excited to finally share that I’ve made the decision to step away from football to fully pursue my passion for fashion and launch my own clothing brand,” he said.
“This has been in the works for a while, but the time feels right to announce it now. For those who know me, you know this isn’t a sudden shift, my decision was made over a long period of time and was well thought out and planned.
“This is something I’ve been passionate about for years, and now I’m ready to take that next step.
“A huge thank you to Celtic for the memories, the friendships, the experiences and the lessons that shaped me.”
Bruno Narducci is set to launch on Sunday, March 16 at 5pm.
Davidson was inspired to carry on the business in memory of his Nonno, Pasquale Narducci, who moved to Toronto in the 1950s: “In 1977, he founded Narducci Clothiers in Toronto, a young Italian immigrant trying to carve out a life,” he said (brunonarducci.com).
“His work was never just about making clothes—it was about craftsmanship, relationships, and perseverance in a new world. Back then, clothing wasn’t just fabric and thread, it was a symbol of identity and personal detail.
