Update emerges on Rangers first-team regular exit to join Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce

Rangers attacker Ianis Hagi has been linked with an exit this summer with Jose Mourinho understood to be keen on signing him.

The Romanian was part of a contractual stand-off with the club earlier this season but that dispute has been resolved and he has been reintegrated into the first team.

However, his future at the club is still understood to be unclear amid links to other European clubs.

Fenerbahce have no agreement to sign Ianis Hagi

Romanian news outlet Sportpesurse reported on 28 February that there were claims suggesting that Gheorghe Hagi had given his green signal to the Turkish club over a potential transfer for his son.

However, that is not understood to be the case and there is nothing concrete with regards to Fenerbahce signing the 26-year-old.

Hagi himself is not keen on linking up with Mourinho and also the fact that his father played for Fenerbahce’s rivals, Galatasaray, the move is understood to be a non starter.

The Gers winger continues to be linked with a move away from the club and a summer exit cannot be ruled out.
