Rangers served UEFA warning over ‘improper conduct’
Rangers have been served a warning from UEFA over “improper conduct of the team” in the Europa League.
The Ibrox club received the written warning in the latest UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body decisions document.
Rangers were warned over the “improper conduct” of players in the Europa League match against Union Saint-Gilloise at Ibrox.
UEFA rules state clubs can be punished over conduct should five or more players be carded in one single match.

Against Union Saint-Gilloise, Rangers had five players cautioned.
Robin Propper, Nico Raskin, Mohamed Diomande, Hamza Igamane and Ross McCausland were all booked by referee Damian Sylwestrzak.
Rangers did not receive any fine or punishment beyond a warning from UEFA over the “improper conduct”.
Article 15 (4) providing guidelines over misconduct of players and officials reads: “If a national or club team conducts itself improperly (for example, if individual disciplinary sanctions are imposed by the referee on either five or more players or II – Offences 17 a combination of six or more players and officials – three or more players in the case of futsal – during a match), disciplinary measures may also be taken against the member association or club concerned (see Annex A.VIII).”
