Leicester city confirm the departure and replacement of current coach-Ruud van Nistelrooy

Leicester City and West Ham United are set to face off in a Premier League meeting on Thursday evening.

The Foxes were hammered 3-0 by Brentford in their previous league outing, all but confirming their relegation.

Leicester City now sit five points from safety in the Premier League table and avoiding the drop seems even more impossible than it did in 2014/15, especially with Wolverhampton Wanderers finding form.

Next up for Ruud van Nistelrooy and co. is a huge meeting with West Ham United on February 27th.

Lose that and relegation is a certainty. With this in mind, here are our predictions for the game.

Leicester City decide to replace Ruud van Nistelrooy

Van Nistelrooy’s first game as Leicester manager came against West Ham and saw the Foxes emerge with a 3-1 victory.

They looked to have turned a corner under Ruud but that is one of just two wins he’s picked up in the Premier League since December 3rd.

He now has a worse record than Steve Cooper did and if they lose to the Hammers, it will be 11 defeats in 12 for Leicester.

That is simply dire form and even if Van Nistelrooy is not completely to blame, he will have to go if the Foxes play anywhere near the level they did against Brentford.

Woyo Coulibably is a rare shining light for Leicester vs West Ham

It seems certain Leicester will lose to West Ham but while results have overshadowed him so far, Woyo Coulibably is likely to impress again.

The right-back was the only arrival at the King Power Stadium over the summer and is likely to start against the East London outfit due to James Justin’s injury.

Coulibaly looked sharp against Arsenal when he came off the bench and caught the eye during the early stages of the Brentford meeting.
