SHOCKING NEWS :CELTICS  ANNOUNCEMENT A NEW OWNERSHIP….

Three years after joining Celtic the midfielder rarely gives any interviews in English but appeared to be in contemplative mode as he surveyed 10 high quality matches at the highest possible club level.

Last season Hatate suffered from a couple of muscle injuries, he played in the defeats against Feyenoord and Lazio then suffered a hamstring tear four minutes into the home draw with Atletico Madrid, his experience matched that of the team overall.
Hatate has started nine of Celtic’s 10 Champions League matches, four players started all of the games with Brendan Rodgers building an impressive core with the Japanese midfielder key to that, alongside Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate.

On Celtic’s kicking on in Europe: “It’s about getting a foothold in the Champions League now. This is just the start. This season, Celtic were always going to be judged on the Champions League and they have shown that they have progressed.

“I think they have to go through a qualifier next season, which is always tricky, but I think the way they performed. Going to Bayern Munich and having that level of performance and confidence.

“I can’t remember the last Celtic side to go away in Europe, against a big team, and play with that balance, so they can be immensely proud. It’s about kicking on next season now.”
